Cyanotypes

This workshop will explore the history of cyanotypes (a camera-less photography process) as well as offer lots of time for hands-on exploration of this media.

We will work with pretreated fabric and pretreated watercolor paper and create dual sided imagery using a variety of materials for inspiration including, leaves, flowers, stencils, kitchen spices, bubbles and more.

Into the Blues: Cyanotype x Encaustic with Angela Johnson and Sarah Rehmer

This workshop is designed for makers, painters, and photographers interested in gaining new skills and pushing the boundaries of their studio practice through the combination of encaustic, cyanotypes, and painting. Blending the practices and instruction of two dynamic artists, make unique works with incredible depth.
