A free, monthly discussion group for readings, watchings, and listenings (books, films, and podcasts) on textile and fiber art with a focus on historical, social, economic, and environmental concerns related to fibers, fabrics, makers/artists, techniques, use, value, and more. It's free to participate but advance registration is required month-by-month.

Bootcamp: Making Books and Boxes with Angela Johnson

Handmade artist books and decorative boxes provide endless possibilities for presenting photographs and mementos, and can be a work of art in and of themselves. Learn a variety of structures in this two-day workshop, including accordion fold and small concertina book forms, several Japanese binding techniques, and a decorative foldable box form.

Creative Art Journaling

Do you want to level up your art journaling or begin an art journaling practice? In this three-week workshop we will use a variety of materials to create sketchbooks and journals. Come with an open mind to try a variety of techniques, do warm-up exercises, solve problems, and capture ideas and feelings on the fly.
