Cyanotypes, Bookmaking and Boxmaking

In this workshop, you will create a foldable decorative box and make four styles of Japanese stab-binding books to fit in it. You will also learn the Cyanotype process. Cyanotypes are a historic camera-less photography process that uses the sun to expose the prints and create beautiful imagery. Your cyanotype prints may become the covers for your stab-binding books or be small treasures that fit in your box.
