“Angela has helped me with that most mundane notion which stumps every artist at moments: getting started. We were able to put action to notion and create motion. Having a creativity coach like Angela offered identification of that which had become invisible to me.”—Hazel
“If you're looking to unlock your creative energy in a stress-free way, Angela Johnson is the perfect coach. There's something magical about the way she opens pathways leading to worlds you've imagined but haven't explored. I've worked as an artist and art teacher for decades, but after my first few sessions with Angela I found myself re-energized and looking forward to finding out what we'd discover next. She asks great questions and helps me focus on what's next.”—Leslee
“When we at the Academy began thinking about hosting our own noncredit courses in the visual arts, Angela’s name is the first one we thought of to help us with consultation and curation. We knew that her decades of experience in the arts and her many connections to artists and arts organizations across the state would be an asset to the project. With Angela’s guidance, the project is now a full-fledged Academy program and a regular part of what we do. We couldn’t have done it without Angela, and we are grateful to have her on the team as we move forward with new—and more—courses!”
—Jason A. Smith, Associate Director, Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters.
“For the past 10 years, I’ve worked with all types of personalities in the art community, but none as focused and dedicated as Angela. She understands the artist’s mind and approaches the art community with confidence and knowledge. Anyone looking for a great creativity coach and collaborator would be lucky to work with Angela. It is without reservation that I endorse her and encourage you to consider her for your creative problem solving needs and goal setting."
—Jeanne B. Ferreira, President, AWA
"I really valued the time spent with Angela. She offered insightful feedback, great ideas and was an amazing colleague in listening to our challenges as we opened our new building. I so appreciated her kind listening ear, and gentle prodding to take on new ideas. We planned and designed a great first "community meeting" with our building user groups. Angela helped me think through my goals for the space in 1, 3 and 5 years, and offered an amazing moment for calm reflection and more clear eyed big picture thinking."
—Courtney
“I often feel as though I'm in a constant rush, dealing with things as they come, and really in the details. But as a leader and a person, I need some time to think about the big picture, and I really appreciated the support in doing that--not just the fact of doing it, but the good questions that prodded me along in that journey. And I appreciated the homework! Sometimes it's a relief to have somebody else give you deadlines, and to help you find structure during the time between sessions. Some of the plans created while working with Angela are coming to fruition soon, and some are farther off. Both are extremely valuable.”

“Angela helped us to establish a knowledge base and system of support within the community to move us forward with a new program and population. She is kind and patient in her work with others, and as a thought partner provided valuable support to set us up for success. I am confident she will do the same for any individual or organization in her care.”
—Jill Jaworski, Director of Arts Education at ARTS for ALL
